Senie Priti is an emerging writer and director from regional Victoria.

She was shortlisted for the 2025 Australian Writers’ Guild Emerging Writers’ Award for her short screenplay Hussk (AWG Pathways) and is an alum of the AFTRS × VicScreen Talent Development Camp.

Her debut short, Alba, received an Honourable Mention for Most Outstanding Emerging Female Director at Flickerfest and was nominated for Best Actor and Best Young Actor at the St Kilda Film Festival. She was also a director’s attachment on Domini Marshall’s Berlinale premiering short Howl and was recently invited to observe the writers’ room for a BBC drama series.

Alongside writing and directing, Senie works in production across commercial and narrative projects. Most recently, she co-produced the feature Westgate (2025), which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival and screened at SXSW Sydney, with distribution through Madman Entertainment in 2026.

She is currently in pre-production on her next short film and developing a slate of long form projects.
